Younger and younger Americans have become what we call green. They are buying products that minimize carbon footprints in the environment. Most of these people who consider themselves green are big into recycling and tend to use green products in their homes. I myself have done several things to my home I currently live in that are green. I have added insulation to my attic in order to minimize cooling loss in the summer and heat loss in the winter. I have also added a solar attic fan to reduce heat in the attic without using electricity. Of course, that is nothing to being completely "off of the grid" or in layman's terms not using the electric company's power, but getting it free from the sun or the wind. Some solar power systems produce enough power to reverse the meter and sell extra electricity back to the power company and in turn the homeowner receives a check from the power company. Brevard County has only a small handful of homes that are considered green. The green term pretty much means that the home was bulit with completely sustainable materials and recycled materials. Some companies are making homes with mostly green products to keep the cost low for us regular people. I am an active environmentalists and I am very dedicated to helping the environment. I read lots of articles and practice being green as to my budget allows at this time. I am very knowledgeable on being green. If you have questions about green homes, I would love to help you and answer any questions you may have.

Rates on 30 year mortgages dropped 5.19% which is the lowest in 37 years according to Freddie Mack. Bank rate expects another drop in 30 to 45 days. So why buy now? I work in brevard county and my expertise is Merritt Island Real Estate. I am seeing all sorts of deals on Brevard County Real Estate. I see that whether you buy now or end up buying in the next year or two, this is one of the better opportunities to buy a home. I have a feeling that when the ARMs start to reset that there will be many more foreclosures to pick from. Before the ARM's have reset, there has already been a 10% default in ARMs. I think thewre will continue to be many deals then but it wont be much different than it would be now. Call me and I can help you find the best home for you.
