We (Central Florida) are one step closer to becoming less dependant on the well known hospitality and tourist industry thanks to the University of Central Florida and their growing educational departments.
I look forward to not only our growth in the local economy, but also to the increase in UCF programs that continue to put our once small and little known school, on the map of colleges that strive to make a difference.
In 2010 the UCF college of Medicine is expected to open 168,000 +/- square feet within a 4 story building located in the South East Corner of Orlando known now as Innovation Way.
The UCF Medical School is expected to start recruiting for classes that are to begin in 2009
